The Fountain of Youth – Right at Your Fingertips
Can we really stop the aging process, slow it down, or even reverse the effects of aging on our skin and body? It is an enigma for which so many have searched the answers to for years. Now, with advanced modern science making breakthroughs and discoveries every day, the answers have become apparent to the age-old quest for the proverbial fountain of youth.
In large part, your everyday lifestyle choices contribute to the way you age, and at what rateyour body ages. Diet, environmental factors, exercise and the topical skincare products and skin care regimen you choose, all affect the way you are going to appear now and ten, twenty, and thirty years down the road. It’s no surprise your lifestyle plays a pivotal
role in how your body and skin age over the years, since we’ve always known diet and exercise affect our energy levels, appearance, moods, and fitness level.
However, several key foods have been found to be very effective weapons not only against aging in general, but also against skin disorders ranging from acne, rosacea, thin skin, and photo aging (sun damage). These foods can even help reverse and repair sun and other environmental damage done to theskin. This powerful weapon is a goup of chemical compounds called antioxidants, and what they accomplish in high doses, along with adequate exercise, can mimic a surgical facelift over a relatively short period of time!
Think about all of the damage your skin is exposed to on a daily basis. It is your largest and most vulnerable organ, exposed to toxins and other damaging elements, like the sun, every day. These elements will actually accelerate the aging process by producing harmful compounds called free radicals, which can damage cells and in turn damage the skin. Antioxidants actually fight free radicals, and reverse some of the damage already done by them in the body.
Precautions to be taken to prevent these nasty little free radicals from wreaking havoc on your skin include wearing sunscreen every day, getting regular moderate exercise, using preventive skin care (cleansers, lotions, gels, creams, etc.) formulated with powerful antioxidants like Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid, and making sure your get an abundance of
antioxidants in your every day diet.
Some examples of foods high in antioxidants include berries (strawberries, bluberries, raspberries, etc.),citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruits, etc.), and vegetables rich in color, such as broccoli, zuccini, spinach, and summer squash.
While there are many foods to be enjoyed while living by the
“anti-aging” diet, there are also foods that need to be either avoided all together, or strictly minimized. These are refined sugar, caffeine, and all starchy and white flour products. The resulting surge of insulin created by these foods produces more free radicals and breaks down the cell’s defenses against damaging elements, leaving you wide open to more skin damage
(ie. wrinkles, skin disorders, and other premature aging effects).
These foods are highly inflammatory by nature, and while they may taste good going down, know that they are destroying good cells and allowing for future damage by weakening the cell’s defenses further. Eating these foods results in less tone and definition. The skin “droops”, hence the creation of fine lines, wrinkles, and dull color. You will know a person that has a high sugar and high carb diet by looking at their face. They may have almost a “doughy” appearance to their skin, lacking the sharp definition and tone enjoyed by those who follow a healthy diet based on the anti-aging principles.
So, there you have it, some of the core concepts that will get you started to minimizing and even reversing the affects of aging. This is really just the tip of the iceberg. There is actually a lot more information on these concepts available that would be well worth your time to learn. What
you do with these principles is up to you, it’s just a matter of making some minor changes for a longer, happier and healthier life. I’d say that is definitely worth the investment!

DVDs have become ubiquitous. Whenever we want to watch a movie or listen to some music we reach out for a DVD. Here are some basic facts about the DVD:
What is a DVD?
DVD is short of Digital Versatile Disk. A DVD-ROM closely resembles a CD or compact disk. However, a DVD-ROM is formatted to hold far more data. While a CD commonly has a capacity of 650 megabytes, the smallest capacity DVD can store about seven times more data, or 4.38 gigabytes (GB). A DVD-ROM encodes data in the form of a spiraling trail of pits and lands separated by mere nanometers. There are various kinds of DVDs. The DVD-ROM is the most common. It is a disk that cannot be written over. Blank DVDs with designations like “DVD-R” and “DVD+R” are formatted, recordable DVDs. The -R and +R refer to competing format standards, but both will record movies, audio or other data. The best examples of DVD-ROMs are the music and film DVDs that can be bought off the shelf.
What is DVD authoring?
Authoring is the process of collecting audio, video, menus, subtitles, etc onto a DVD. In common parlance it is called burning. This is done on DVD authoring software. There are numerous DVD authoring programs but which you use depends on your need, be it personal, professional or corporate.
How is DVD duplication carried out?
Duplication is an industrial process where a glass master used to physically stamp copies out like a cookie cutter.
What is DVD video?
DVD video is technically superior and the closest we have to studio quality video. Digital studio master tapes are usually encoded from to MPEG-2 format to create a DVD video. The encoding process uses lossy compression that removes redundant information.
What is a DVD menu?
A DVD menu allows easy access to the titles without having to scan the DVD. This is both convenient and accurate. A DVD could have a main menu with 4 title sets each containing a menu and a single title. All the titles are made from multiple input files and each input file is one chapter.
What is a menu? Menus are just an mpeg file with subtitles. The basic mpeg is the background and the subtitles produce the menu buttons. The background can either be a short movie or a still image converted to an mpeg. MPEG stands for “Motion Picture Experts Group.” It stands for the committee that dreamed up the MPEG-2 compression algorithm. MPEG-2 is the de-facto standard compression technology used for DVD video.

India’s Naveen Jain made it big in the United States with not one, but two companies. In hindsight, he had little more than a business exchange grant to deliver him from his poverty-stricken country.
In Washington (where he is presently based), he established InfoSpace and Intelius in just a space of six years. The former thrived in the 1990s until the early millennium as a directory service and web content provider. The younger one, Intelius, is currently registering considerable revenue growths in the Puget Sound region.
From its founding in 2003 hitherto, Intellius has exhibited an upward trend in its revenues, prompting Inc. Magazine to certify it an Inc. 500 company. The Inc. 500 refers to the cadre of privately traded American companies that have posted impressive profits in a certain span of years.
Deloitte & Touche was more unreserved in extolment; it put Intelius in the league of the 500 fastest-growing technological and media companies across North America.
If Intelius is profitable, InfoSpace was money-spinning. By trading publicly, InfoSpace gave Naveen Jain an all-time high in net worth — $2.2 billion. Investors like Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen invested in the company, which impressively drove 20 acquisitions, while MSN, Lycos, America Online, Snap, Disney, and the Wall Street Journal depended on its products. Naveen Jain steered the company as CEO from 1996 until 2002.
Intelius holds his attention nowadays; he is its CEO presently. Before, from 1989 until 1996, he was employed by the Microsoft Corporation, and before that, the Burroughs Corporation. Eventually he became the group manager for The Microsoft Network during the online service’s nascent stages.
In India, Naveen Jain attended schools in Roorkee and Jamshedpur. He finished a degree in engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree at XLRI.
He, his wife, and three children are based today in Washington.
FL Auto Insurance Minimums
- Bodily Injury Liability (BIL): $10,000/$20,000 Limit
- Property Damage Liability (PDL): $10,000 Limit
Florida follows the no-fault system. The details for a no-fault system change from state to state, but basically, how it works is that the auto insurance firm will cover costs irrespective of fault. To aid payment for the costs created from an auto accident, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is included in auto insurance policies. Laws in the state of Florida require a minimum Personal Injury Protection insurance policy of $10,000 for a single driver and $20,000 for all persons involved.
Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury coverage is for times when you get into an accident with a motorist who does not have insurance. This insurance coverage is nonobligatory, but can help decrease costs if you are in an accident with an uninsured and/or underinsured motorist.
Motorists in Florida paid an usual of a little over $1100 for their auto insurance policy in 2003. That same year, the national usual was about $200 less. There are many Floridians who wrongly presume that they have no way of getting better their auto insurance costs. Each insurance underwriter has a slighly unique mode of calculating a person’s insurance premium so costs will deviate by customer. Shopping around can help you find discounted auto insurance premiums. Auto insurance websites help you check the discounted rates available in Florida, so average Floridians can get a better-than-usual low rate on their coverage.
In 2007, mean auto insurance costs saw their first reduction in about 8 years. 2007 had a .5% to 1% fall in auto insurance rates from 2006. In 2008, auto insurance rates little by little started to get more expensive once again and 2009 will be about the same! Auto insurance comparison sites recognize that the singular way to lower costs is to shop. They bring competition straight to the person and decrease your insurance premiums utilizing the web! You may be able to find reduce auto insurance quotes at another auto insurance firm and/or find that you’re entitled for distinct insurance discounts.

About half way through that organizing or exercising project (yes, I’m probably being optimistic!), your will-power fails, and you begin to wonder just what you were thinking. Sound familiar?
“How do I stick with it?” is a question I hear over and over and over in my business. Getting excited about a project in the beginning is one thing, but about half way through that organizing or exercising project (yes, I’m probably being optimistic!), your will-power fails, and you begin to wonder just what you were thinking. Sound familiar?
But it doesn’t have to be that way. You CAN stick with it, and here are a few ideas that can help.
1. Examine the choices of your life for the fun factor. Choose goals that make you *smile* now, not “when I get it”, or “when I weigh less”, or “when the kids grow up”. If the goal makes you smile every day, you are able to enjoy the journey and not just the destination. A goal that’s truly yours will light you up, make you grin, or at the very least, give you a sense of peace or uuummmmm good (like a warm fire on a cold day). LIGHTEN UP – put the fun back into your goals.
2. Make sure that your goals haven’t evolved into a “should”, or “ought-to”, or “boy it’ll be embarrassing to tell people I don’t want to do that anymore”. What your parents think of you – or your kids, or even your friends – should mean a lot to you. But what you think of yourself is just as important. A key to motivation is that it matters to you. A key to motivation is the MOTIVE. It has to be something that keeps you moving in the same direction over and over and over.
3. Give up the idea that every day will be perfect. It won’t be! Remind yourself constantly that it doesn’t mean that you won’t get knocked off course once in a while. But what it does mean is that when you get knocked off course, you have the faith and persistence in yourself to self-correct, and get back on course. Even when the goals you have are stressful, as long as you find them interesting and exciting deep inside, the motivation will usually follow. As long as you’re captivated by the goal, even on the days that you “give up”, it’ll be easier to get back to it.
4. Focus on the details. The big picture and the motive behind it is the PULL that helps you remember why you get out of bed every morning, above and beyond the immediate desire to pay the electric bill. But the details — the persistent, consistent, small steps — are what help you manage the big picture without feeling overwhelmed and creating self doubt. Keep your eye on the task right in front of you.
5. Make yourself accountable. Grow up. Get real. Decide that this is what you really want, and take on the challenge. This is either your desire, or it’s not, and if it’s not just admit it and forget it. But if you really DO want it, you’re going to have to make yourself accountable for your decisions, and follow through with what needs to be done.
6. Practice. Practice. Practice. It has to become a new habit. We have a very hard time just “quitting” something. You need to replace an old habit with a new habit. Perhaps you have a habit of tossing your car keys wherever they land when you come in the door. Then every morning it’s a frantic search for them. Now imagine that you’re tired of that habit, so you say, “I’m not going to do that any more”. At this point, you must decide what you’re going to do instead, and practice, practice, practice the new habit.
7. Almost everybody needs some outside motivation from time to time to stay the course. When it happens to you, enlist the help of a friend, a spouse, or a coach to help keep you moving forward. The key here is not to get dependent on them for your motivation. Just like the myth of will-power, using other people for motivation won’t work for long. Use them to help you get back on track and remind you why you do what you do. Then get moving again.
The bonus to sticking with a project is that when life throws you some difficult challenges — and it will — you’ll feel a confidence from having accomplished the other goals.

Transforming Fear
By Shirley Knapp
Anything that is built on fear is like it is built on sand.
In our world today, it is extremely important to release and transform fear! When there is so much fear around us, you may ask yourself what is the importance of this and how to do this? The importance of changing fear into trust changes the way we see our life and how we live it. When we live in fear we react out of fear and everything becomes limited. The shallow, tight feeling of fear affects the way we breathe and even our immune systems. When our immune systems are depleted we invite physical challenges. Our limited thoughts color the way we imagine our lives. For example do you see the glass half empty or half full? Our thoughts draw to us exactly what we are most afraid of so that is why this work is so important. The first step to transforming our fears is to identify them.
Identify one of your fears.
Begin doing this by intuitively checking into your life like you would swing a pendulum. If you swing into a part of your life and you feel resistance, you most likely are making a decision out of fear. If you then again try to swing into the same situation and the swing makes your heart feel open, there is trust. If you find a place where fear is a foundation, you need to let that go, because anything that is built on fear is like it is built on sand. It really won’t stand firm in the newness. Be willing to change the fearfulness into trust and limitlessness.
Embrace your fear.
One way to begin transforming your fear is to sit quietly and visualize that fear and bring it close to you. Whether this is a belief in your relationships, career, or health, remember it is part of you and is like an old friend. A good way to disempower that fear is to sit quietly and imagine yourself by the sea. Bring in either a whale or dolphin to assist you in your relaxation. Let the fearfulness be released using the whales and the dolphins. Use their energy to exchange your fear patterns. This is their greatest gift for you and to you. They will exchange your fear patterns quite joyfully, playfully. You don’t need to give your fear patterns to them, but you can bring the fear patterns to them for exchange: release them into the sea and be filled with their (the dolphins’ and the whales’) joyfulness, their limitlessness, and their fearlessness.
And you will see so clearly how it all works because they have it to give. That is their purpose to give and more and more of you will be drawn to their hearts because you are ready at last to give up what has really never been yours. You have worn old fear from who knows when and how, and it really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you no longer wear the fear, because it is like old clothes that no longer fit you. If they were never yours, they don’t belong to you and don’t suit you. Let go of things that no longer suit you until you are more and more free and clear to play in the wind and the sand and the sun until you are more and more free inside yourselves to just be who you are. Be not afraid, for those who have filled you with limited fearful thoughts are around you in your everyday lives. As you know, you can always go out and find fear whenever you ask. If you ask around long enough, you will find an answer that is filled with fear, and then you won’t take your next step.
Remember, without fear everything is available to you.
Stay firm in your commitment to joyfulness, and you will see things change around you that have never changed prior to this. You will see as you begin experiencing the end of old beliefs, resolution of old conflicts, the tearing down of old structures where there is any foundation of fear they will be replaced in the essence of the new. As you change within yourself, you will help to change your world. Continue to clear and love yourself, and you will feel the depth of your world shift. When you find yourself with the feeling of ultimate resistance or fear, bless that polarity, for that is given to you so you can work upon something inside yourself that can be changed and shift your outer world. Take that fear, that polarity, those relationships, and place it (them) on a Bridge of Light. You can do this with any part of your life to receive support where there is resolution needed.
We give you this exercise:
Think of someone with whom you’d like to communicate through thought and energy. Now imagine a bridge between you and that person. The bridge becomes a place to meet and communicate through thoughts, images, and feelings. You are, in essence, inviting connection and healing on a higher level. Your time on the bridge can be used to open the heart, to forgive, to release fear, to celebrate, or to connect in many other ways. When you feel complete, thank the other person for their participation and release the image of the bridge.
. What fears/resistances are you holding that you would like to release?
In what other areas of your life might this exercise be helpful?
How has this exercise shifted your relationship to that person?
What newness has come in to replace the old fears that you have chosen to release?
What joy are you experiencing as a result?
You can do this in your meditations and be as effective, and much more effective at times, than on the earth plane when you run into physical resistance. Remember JOY is your choice. CHOOSE IT!

Diamond engagement rings for many years typically came in the traditional form of a gold band with a solitaire diamond setting, but as wedding etiquette has evolved over the years to include the more idiosyncratic tastes of individual couples, so are there now many shapes and makes of diamond engagement ring available. An engagement ring is hopefully something that a bride will wear forever, and as such, it should encapsulate her personality, so that regardless of the shifting of fashions, it will remain something that she loves and treasures.
An increasing popular choice for engagement and wedding rings is platinum. One of the rarest of the precious metals, it is strong and sturdy, with a subtle style that is the perfect accompaniment to any precious stone. It is the unique combination of simplicity and luster that have made the choice of a diamond engagement ring in platinum increasingly popular, as its wonderful sheen sets off the cut and brilliance of a diamond beautifully.
The popularity of diamond engagement rings in platinum is also due to that material’s eminent practicality. Platinum is extremely hardwearing and resistant to the scratches and other damage that gold rings are often prone to. Platinum doesn’t tarnish, and for those with sensitive skin, it is also hypoallergenic, making it comfortable to wear.
The sturdiness and durability of platinum make it a popular choice for men’s rings, but its simple understated beauty lends itself to diamond engagement rings also. Platinum is the perfect choice for those who prefer the look of white gold to yellow, and its durable nature makes it the perfect compliment to the enduring beauty of a diamond.
A diamond engagement ring in platinum combines beauty and durability in a unique package. The rarity of platinum compliments perfectly the uniqueness of each diamond, ensuring that a platinum diamond engagement ring will be a unique symbol as peerless as your love.

The probabilities of scooping up the Euro Lottery jackpot is a remote 1 : seventy-six million but the prospect of winning a money prize is a fairly decent 1 in twenty-four. When the jackpot is not won in a given lotto draw, it is brought forward to the following lotto draw that will result in an ever increasing jackpot value. New regulations brought in on the 09 February 2007 define the amount of successive roll overs to eleven, with the jackpot rolling down to smaller value levels in the eleventh lottery draw if the prize is not collected.
The Euromillions lotto or the Euro lotto, as it is usually well-known, gathers the lotto ticket receipts of the nine partaking European countries showing a mammoth Euro lottery jackpot. With the quantity of nations joining the Euro on the increase, that will without question will lead to more countries partaking in the European lottery. An increase in the number of individuals partaking in the Euro Lottery will lead to a lasting growth of the already immense euro millions jackpots.
The recent rules also initiated Euro Millions Super Draw which go on twice annually plus they offer jack-pots in the region of 100 million pounds. The difference with Super-Draws is that the jackpot has to be won during the week of the lottery draw; this means, when there is no lotto ticket corresponding, all the numbers drawn and the top prize will then be distributed to the ticket bearer(s) in the succeeding winning prize level.
Every participant must pick out five primary numbers from one to fifty and 2 Lucky Star numbers from one to nine. During the Euromillions draw five main and two lucky star numbers are then picked out at random from 2 lotto draw machines containing numbered lottery balls.
Imagine the joy of finding the love of your life, an exciting romantic liaison or a rewarding friendship when you are looking and feeling your worst. You had a hellish time at work the previous day, you feel as though you haven’t slept a wink, your skin would be a voyage of exploration for a dermatologist and a crow would be more than happy nesting in your hair. You feel tired and fed up and your self-esteem is at an all time low. You long for someone special with whom to share your life, but right now you feel that even Quasimodo wouldn’t consider you as a romantic option. In this moment of self-deprecation, how is meeting Mr or Mrs Right possible? By taking advantage of online dating, of course.
Helen is 38 and works for a prestigious law firm. Her dating track record since the tragic and premature death of her husband five years ago has been poor. Although the majority of Helen’s work colleagues are male, she says, “The majority of them are married and even if they were available, I would not be interested. I also don’t think I could cope with having a relationship with someone involved in the legal sector. I imagine that we would find it very hard to leave our work behind. Socially, where does one go to meet likeminded men who are genuinely interested in a relationship as opposed to a one-night stand?”
Helen went onto explain that she met her late husband whilst at university and, during the many contented years of her marriage, she had a fairly blinkered view of dating agencies. “I viewed them with suspicion, assuming that they were frequented by people who either had major personality flaws, or else had some ulterior seedy motive. I never once stopped to think about how difficult it is in this day and age to meet suitable companions in mainstream environments. Of course, about two years after Harry’s death when I began thinking that I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life alone, I realised that meeting other people was not that easy. Clubs and pubs really didn’t appeal to me. I tried going with friends to wine bars, but found that I was largely on the receiving end of unwanted attention from men in whom I had no interest. It was also obvious that the majority of them were just after a quick thrill.
Helen quickly began to view dating agencies as an attractive option, but didn’t really like the idea of being computer-matched with someone. After all, that removed personal choice and she made it clear that she was not the sort of person who liked having choices made for her! Her decision to try online dating as an alternative was made whilst awaiting a dental appointment.
“In the waiting room, I came across an article on online dating as I was idly perusing the obligatory stack of well-thumbed women’s magazines. The article must have been particularly well written, because I was instantly sold on the idea. The concept of being able to peruse a database of potential suitors whilst still in my dressing gown was extremely appealing. At least I knew that when I did dress up, it would be because I actually had a date, rather than putting a huge effort into preparing for a night cruising around social clubs, with no guarantee that I was going to meet someone. After my appointment, I couldn’t wait to get home and begin checking out some of the sites that were recommended.
Helen spent a long time researching the plethora of online dating sites before she found one that she felt catered for her needs, which of course included a level of security.
“I wasn’t particularly drawn to totally free sites, because I felt that they were more likely to attract members who weren’t particularly serious about the process, or whose intentions weren’t entirely honourable. I was more interested in sites that allowed you to peruse profiles, but which required you to pay for full membership before allowing you to contact other members. That way, I knew that those I contacted were probably more serious about meeting someone special and not just after a quick fling. I wanted to sign up with a site where I felt totally in control and also secure in the knowledge that none of my personal contact details would be divulged to anyone unless I specifically chose to give out this information. I was also more impressed by sites that offered a range of relationship advice and articles.”
Helen eventually signed up with www.DatingHappy.com and says that it was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
“At first I felt rather embarrassed admitting to even my closest friends that I had chosen this route, but when I did, I was amazed at how many of them had also considered doing the same thing. One of my friends, whom I assumed had met her husband at the gym, admitted that she had actually met him via an online message forum. Although this wasn’t the same as a dating agency, essentially it was no different. She had found someone with whom she shared common interests, but whom she had not previously met face-to-face and that is exactly how I began broadening my male social circle, except via a dedicated relationship facility.
Helen says that she found the search process “exhilarating”.
“It was like being an invisible fly on the wall in a room full of interesting men from all walks of life with their personal profiles attached to them I could look, analyse and weigh up the options in a way that would be impossible if all those men were in one room. The best part was the convenience and the fact that it didn’t matter one iota what I looked like or how I behaved!
“I also liked the idea of initially being able to build the foundations of a relationship on friendship and mutual interests, before actually meeting someone and being blinded by lust, which of course never lasts with the same intensity as at the beginning of a relationship!”
Has Helen met her match?
“Very possibly”, she laughs. “I’ve had tremendous fun and I’d like to say that I believe I have found a relationship with future potential, but you’ll just have to wait and see……!!”
