{March 30, 2009}   Sydney Botox Injections at Star Cosmetic Medicine

With my decision to have my face injected with Sydney Botox injections, I got curious as to what will happen before and after Sydney Botox injections. Is it safe? Is it worth it? Is it worth all the hassle and money? Well, with the nearly 3 million procedures performed by doctors since 2003, I am a little contented that it’s worth the wait.

According to a doctor I’ve spoken with, this procedure is very simple since it can be accomplished in about 10 to 30 minutes. Wait. That long? He said that is actually depends upon the amount injected and the number of areas that needed the treatment. Aside form that, Botox injections are actually painless since a topical anesthesia shall be used to numb the areas to be injected on.
I’m not really scared with needles so I guess, there’s nothing to worry. Besides they use thin needles so even there could be some pain or discomfort, it’ll be just over in a jiff. One thing to remember is that Botox paralyzes the muscles on my face. So skins that cannot move cannot form fine lines and wrinkles. That’s a relief to hear!
I could even have the procedure done during lunch break and come back to work after it. There is practically no bruising, bleeding and pain in the injected area. One thing I should try is to hook up with my friends for a party so I could show off my youthful look.
Now, what should happen before and after Sydney Botox injections? Well, what I believe is that with the before part, life is but gloomy and dreary but the after part of the treatment; I could throw my worries behind and live life to the fullest. Well, live greatly in the next 3 to 6 months since I have to return to my doctor to get another dose of Botox.
With my precious savings in check, what are the conditions I should be aware of before and after Sydney Botox injections? Before I undergo the treatment, I should make sure if I have myasthenia gravis. Myasthe what? Oh… if my eyelids droop like the character in one of Hallmark Movie called Merlin. Nope. My eyelids are pretty normal. Do I have a neuromuscular disease? I don’t have Parkinson’s disease.

I am definitely not pregnant and have not touched alcoholic beverages nor have taken anti inflammatory tablets like Aspirin in the last week. I’m a potential receptor of Botox alright.

After the procedure, I should not lie down 4 hours after the procedure, should not massage the muscles where I had the Botox injection since it might spread to my eyes – that would be a scary face to look at. Now that I am very much aware of what to do before and after Sydney Botox injections, I can’t wait to have the treatment already!

Who knows? After waiting a couple of weeks for the Sydney Botox Injections to do its wonders, I will enjoy a rejuvenated face.
