Jenny pulled a card from her tarot card deck. “The Four of Swords — it’s shown itself again,” she said with a sigh. “I feel like there’s a two-month period you’re waiting for.”
The beneficiary of Jenny’s tarot reading, Samantha, had indeed just landed a temporary two-month job as an office manager in Sydney, to tide her over until University started.
Some may say that Jenny may have made a lucky guess, but more and more people are beginning to believe otherwise. In this unpredictable world, psychics are busier than ever.
Psychic readings are indeed changing said tarot reader Jenny. “I see more interest in long-range planning instead of love and ‘will I live happily ever after?’”
Belief in the paranormal has also spread well beyond the small communities it use to be used in. A recent Gallup poll found that one in two Americans believes in extrasensory perception. Fifty-four percent believe in psychic or spiritual healing, and almost three in 10 say they believe in witches and the figures are higher for Australia.
“It’s changing fast,” says Jenny, a psychic reader for the Universal Psychic Guild, the largest of its type in the world. “We used to just get calls from a small circle of people who knew what we did and relied upon it, now its completely different. We have thousands of callers calling from all sorts of backgrounds and many many more professional people who are using our services to plan everything in their lives from business decisions to finding the right partner.
“We all knew that the world was becoming more spiritual, but none of us expected it to change so fast and for psychics to become so popular.
“I now have over 200 people I speak with on a weekly basis.”

With the boom of the information superhighway in today’s world, more and more people are relying on the internet for information, assistance and entertainment. People now can work at their home, in front of a computer, not anymore needing to travel from place to place to acquire data and go about scheduled tasks.
In answer to this need, businesses, big and small alike, turned to websites to conduct and advertise their businesses. These websites make it easy for others to gain access to information with the use of a computer. Information at the tips of the fingertips. The contents are what make these sites a valuable tool. But people being judgmental, the first impressions are the one that always lasts.
The first thing people see are the visuals that are laid out in front of them. Some people tend to judge from just seeing. So from the first glance, they already identify what is interesting and what is not. That is why graphic designs were created.
Graphic designs are the first things you see in prints, whether on the web or in paper. It is the layout, the colors, or the drawings. They tend to be as colorful, as artistic and as creative as possible. Depending on the requirements of the customer, graphic designs ranged from simple lively drawings to 3D animation types. These are the works of creative minds trying do unique and more ultra-modern concepts that enhances advertisements, media and businesses alike. It is no wonder that all throughout the years, as graphic designs take on new styles, the need for them increases. What people cannot put in words, they put into visuals.
People tend to relate drawings with meanings, with words. When they see something, a description comes to mind. Then the flow of ideas and thoughts follow. These are one of the purposes of graphic designs. They focus on giving people the idea but not the subject. With their works, they let the minds do the thinking for themselves. They just served as triggers to let ideas and thoughts out.
The companies or the owner tells clients their ideas through graphic designs. Sometimes, they go way beyond what the people wanted to know. Adding new knowledge in the process of answering their queries.
In the modern world of today, making use of graphic designs may be a step into a new kind of information technology that is successful and will continue to be so. In the continuous demands of the people today, who knows what they will think of next.

Good Luck!
The growing popularity of the internet has been a wonderful thing for independent designers and buyers alike. There are hundreds of great little shops on the internet, full of indie treasures just waiting to be discovered!
But with so many small, virtually unknown businesses on the internet today, how can you tell which ones are reputable, and which are not? Ask yourself these questions, and you’ll be on the right track!
Is the design clean and professional?
An attractive website is a good indicator that the business is run professionally. What is your first impression when you visit the site? Is it visually pleasing? Is it well-organized? Does it make you want to shop?
First impressions of a professional site:
• Clean, uncluttered pages
• Simple, clear fonts
• Concise, professional language
• Attractive, professional graphics and product photos
• Complete, detailed product descriptions
Can you easily locate important information about the company?
Any reputable company will make their policies clear and easy to find. From the home page, you should be able to locate contact information, ordering, payment, shipping, return and privacy policies within seconds. Ideally, there are links to this information from all pages.
Be sure to read these policies carefully. After reading them, you should be able to answer these questions:
• How soon will your order be processed?
• How will your payment be processed?
• Will your credit card be billed when you order, or when your item is shipped?
• When will your order be shipped?
• How will your order be shipped?
• How can you return your item if there is a problem?
• How long do you have to return your item?
• Will your personal information be kept confidential?
Can you easily find what you’re looking for?
If you are looking for a specific kind of item, can you find it (or find that they don’t have it) quickly? A good site will have a consistent navigation structure. Look for these features:
• Navigation is easily located (preferably in the same place on each page)
• Font is clear and easy to read
• Descriptive categories and subcategories that make it convenient to find specific items
• Each page has a link back to the home page
• Each page has a link to shopping cart/checkout
• Each page has a link to contact the company with questions
Is the payment area secure?
Never enter your personal information or credit card information without checking that the shopping cart pages are secure. The address of a secure page will start with https://. Never email sensitive personal or credit card information.
Still not sure?
Take the time to look for and read the “About Us” page. It will tell you a lot about the people behind the website. Do they seem like people you would want to do business with?
The site looks great, all of the important information is available, you found just what you were looking for, and the price is right. But you’re still not sure if you want to fork over your hard-earned money to a business you’ve never heard of before. What can you do?
Contact the designer by email or phone. Introduce yourself and ask any questions you have. Chances are that any remaining doubts will be erased by the response that you receive. Independent desgners are, as a rule, very friendly people who greatly appreciate your interest in their work.

Measuring Website Traffic
So many statistics are available on a site that it can be bewildering and confusing to work out what to measure, what each statistic means and what to do with the data you have.
As Disraeli said, there are lies, damned lies and statistics. Here we look at useful statistics to use, and how to analyse your traffic reports most effectively:
User Journeys
User journeys is one of the most useful reports about your site. Here you can track every individual site user and see which pages they visited, the journey they took through the site, and how long they stayed at each page.
You can examine any common or surprising trends and patterns, and seek ways to help people navigate their way through the site – for instance if many people use a roundabout route to reach something linked to from the homepage, what can you do to make that content more prominent?
Top Referrers
This is a list of the websites that are driving traffic to you. Typically you will see search engines towards the top of this list; but you might be surprised at who else is referring traffic to you.
If you have paid for listings elsewhere or have link partnerships, you can use this report to see if you are actually gaining traffic from your referral schemes – therefore this can be an important report.
Searches
You may have an internal search engine, in which case see what searches people are performing and how you can best route them to the relevant content, or indeed to identify content gaps in the existing site that can be plugged.
Look at search engine queries that are reaching your site – are they on terms you would like or a little more surprising or obscure? Take measures to ensure that you give yourself the best possible chance of getting traffic for searches relevant to your site
Top Pages
One of the most standard but useful reports, this shows you how much traffic each page is getting. If pages near the bottom of the hierarchy are getting a lot of traffic, this suggests they may be more important to site visitors than you initially anticipated, and should therefore consider raising their profile on the site.
Similarly if there are top level pages getting little traffic, why is this? They might not be that important or at least not often viewed, but it could be the text is poorly written and turns visitors away.
Countries
If you have the data available, seeing the countries that people visit your site from can be very interesting – there might be a few surprises. If you find a large percentage of your audience comes from overseas then consider if you can do things to help them with your site – for instance displaying prices in more than one currency could be a good measure to take.
Sales Pages / eCommerce
With any sales process, it is critical that you map and track the most common paths to purchases on your site. Imagine you have a four step sales process, and note that the drop off between step two and step three is 90%.
You need to ask why this is – have customers just had a surprise like seen the price for the first time? Or, more likely, that step is confusing, too long or the call to action is not clear. Any sharp drop off should be investigated and steps taken to try to improve.
Monitor the drop off after the changes and you should see an improvement in overall conversion. Sales and ecommerce processes should definitely be checked in this manner as you may be losing sales just through poor design, despite an excellent product that the customer really wants.

Landing pages are meant to convince your visitor to take a specific action. If the majority of your visitors are not taking the action that you wanted them to take, then your landing pages are not effective. Ideally, you should create several landing pages and determine which one is converting better. Once you know what is working, you can ditch the other pages – but in order to find out which one wins, you will have to run several test promotions, or one promotion with different links.
Start by thinking about your visitors. Who will be visiting your site? If you sell ladies shoes, you can reasonably assume that women between the ages of 18 and 70 are visiting your site. Therefore, your page and your sales copy would be targeted to women of basically all age groups over the age of eighteen. If you are selling toys for toddlers, you can reasonably assume that parents – mostly women – between the ages of 20 and 30 will be your target market.
Figuring out who your promotional material is meant for, and designing landing pages that work with that promotional material is the first step to success. You can even design promotional material and landing pages for different groups of people. For instance, even though most people who buy toys for toddlers are women, men also buy toys for toddlers. A landing page that appeals to a woman will not appeal to a man. The promotional ad that gets the visitor to the landing page in the first place must also be suited to the group of people that you are trying to attract.
Get rid of anything on the page that does not have to do with getting your visitor to take the action you want them to take. Graphics are nice, but keep the graphics low and to a minimum. Get rid of links to other websites. Get rid of navigation links if possible. Have everything the visitor needs on that one page.
Take away the visitors options. Focus on one thing – getting the visitor to take the action you want them to take. Do not allow them to navigate through your website. Do not confuse them by offering more than one product for sale or by having them perform more than one action on the page. If you stay focused, and you keep your page focused, the chances are very good that your visitor will remain focused as well.
The only outward bound links on your landing page should be a link to an order form. Anything else can and should go directly on the page. If you simply want your visitor to fill out a form, put the form on the landing page. If you want them to read information, put it on the landing page. If you want them to make a purchase, put the sales copy on the landing page, with a link to the secure order form on the bottom of the page – and throughout the sales copy.
Make your sales copy scannable by using bold colors and text that stand out – but don’t go overboard and blind or irritate your visitors. Use highlights to bring the visitors attention to important information. Put the important information above the fold. Don’t make them scroll for it – have it right where they can see it as soon as the page loads.
Designing effective landing pages take a little work, and when you are done, you will be surprised at how simple the page actually is – and how well it does what you want it to do!

You have all heard of white on white and it certainly has its place.
But black on black has its moods, too. A low key photograph evokes
mystery, night and secrets. Silhouette and shape prevail over color
and light.
In order to separate the subject from the background, an edge light
is in order. Objects lit from behind, hiding the source from the lens
approach the eye in a direct manner, flaunting their power while
reveling in the dark.
Look for subjects dark in color, but having texture and reflective
properties. A wine red satin, a bolt of navy and dark gold tapestry,
crushed velvet in chocolate tones or a black ceramic cup edged in
filigree lace are all candidates for a low key picture.
Face lighting can be from the side – a broad source well masked
against spill light. Small but powerful spots can provide a key light
for emphasis of important detail. An interesting fact is that extra
light thrown on a black background will produce blacker blacks
in the important areas. The reason is that the extra light raises
the exposure curve to include the expanded range of tones near
the top of the curve. Therefore, the blacks are expanded darker
as well as placing more detail in the highlights. In order to ascertain
the correct exposure, read the light from a 10 per cent gray card
rather than from the subject. Bracket for safety.
Careful printing will place the darker skin tones (shadows) just
above black in density, while assigning the true skin tone to a
small key area near the eyes: a triangular area on the cheek or
s diffused highlight on the forehead. All else in the photograph
will be lit well enough to be seen and appreciated but relegated
to the shadow areas. A favorite trick of the masters was to softly
key light an object or secondary interest within the gaze of the
main subject. For instance, a girl holding an apple ready for
paring would be back lit from a narrow window but some of
the light would fall on the apple and knife. Everything else
would be placed in shadow.
A large black umbrella is a handy tool for producing a low key
portrait in medium toned environments. Placed to the right of
the camera just out of range of the lens, the umbrella will deepen
the tones facing and close to the camera. Generally, a soft light
from a broad source like a large window covered with Venetian
blinds for control is ideal for a low key picture. You can make
a safe back light with a large, slim cardboard box , with the top
and bottom knocked out and painted black on the inside. Place
the box over the light, creating a long narrow snoot. Position
the snoot behind and slightly above the subject pointing at the
lens. The same effect can be had with a window masked off
except for a narrow slit near the middle.
Experiment with the composition, turning the subject and changing
the subject’s activity for variety. If you succeed, the viewer’s eye will
be riveted on the subject and there will be no mistaking the mood.
Many of my wedding portraits were taken with a short light
and a dark background. Comments welcome.
The Internet has revolutionized the marketing industry and has changed it definition ever since. Compared to the more conventional marketing setup of yesteryears, todays marketing enterprise has changed significantly in the introduction of Internet.
Most people underestimate the value of Internet in using it as powerful machinery in the creation of wealth. There is more than meets the eye in the Internet world and entrepreneurs in these fields face a bright future should they be following simple steps and rules that will surely take them to success.
Who are Internet Millionaires?
By the term itself, Internet millionaires are entrepreneur who championed the odds of Internet hazards in order to create something what we called wealth.
Richness is the ultimate prize for someone who has grabbed the chance to getting the hearts of many (online users) and helped generate income for them.
The secrets to chalking up millions of dollars from the Internet alone have been openly discussed in the public.
The ways and means to getting into the top is something worth mentioning in this article and something that one has to practice when engaging in your fight to be one of the best in a unique marketplace called Internet.
One Man Team Most successful Internet millionaires are product of a one-man company.
Manu Kumar, previous owner of SneakerLabs Inc., works on his own and in turn solidified his goal of maintaining a continuous undivided gains in his own website.
While there are business setup that do not succeed consisting only of one person, one must be able to gauge how much effort one has to put in a certain company in order to make sure that you will handle most of the job required by the business industry you are working in.
Aggressiveness Savor the opportunity while it lasts. Take all the chances of saving your revenues in the business you are working on. The revenue you will gain from such business pursuit may serve as your capital in future advancement of your site or for the creation of another support site of your interest.
Right Time, Right Place, Right People Surround yourself with motivating people and dump those who suck up your energy and enthusiasm.
Be with be As and dismissed the Fs scholars often say. Working with emotionally disturbed people or someone whom you do not share interest with or do not sympathize with the objectives of the team are more likey to cause trouble than benefits.
Killer Page The Internet has evolved into something sophisticated and dynamic. Websites of today are examples of peoples liking to dynamism and change.
For this reason, one should creating website that is unique yet and easy to read. In a recent study of webpage template development, online search users and people who do frequent browsing in the net tends to stay longer in neutral pages with neutral colors such as white and other shades of gray while sites with multi-color background are shunned away by professional online viewers. Try to neutralize the color of your site and focus on the content.
Maximize your Potential Always put up a portal that tends to speak much about your individual ability. Focus on your forte and make the most of it.
There will be a big chance of you succeeding in your business goals if you are better equipped with tools that you yourself is adept in using. The online world is a cornucopia of companies that competes with other business with similar products and each are offering comparably outstanding services.
Given this idea, you are to prove yourself that you product is worth buying for and try to win them up with amenities that only your company can provide.
Opportunity Comes Responsibility While the benefits of conducting your business online is overwhelming, it is but worth mentioning that your responsibility as a business owner in handling client information are securely stored in a separate computer file to prevent access to highly confidential information.
Just recently, several companies got involved in the scandal that personal information obtained from certain clients are forwarded to other companies, sold and used for purpose of sending unsolicited bulk mail ads and for other marketing purposes.
It is important to realize that while you, as an entrepreneur, is making your aggressive way to getting the place to the top, maintaining a proper ethical standard is what still matters in any business pursuit. Any industry built upon the foundation of lies and deceit are usually short-lived
When you start preparing for your CCNP exam, particularly the BSCI exam, you’re introduced to Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations. BGP is unlike any protocol you learned during your CCNA studies, and even the similarities are a little bit different!
BGP forms neighbor relationships, much like EIGRP and OSPF do. The interesting thing with BGP is that potential neighbors, or “peers”, do not need to be directly connected and can use their loopback interfaces to form the peer relationships.
It may well be to your advantage to use loopbacks to form peer relationships rather than the actual interface facing the potential neighbor. This can be done because BGP uses static neighbor statements rather than any kind of dynamic neighbor discovery process.
Consider a router that has two paths to a BGP speaker. The interfaces are numbered like this:
Router1: Serial0, 172.1.1.1 /24, Serial2, 179.1.1.1 /24, loopback0, 1.1.1.1 /32.
Router2: Serial0, 172.1.1.2/24, Serial2 179.1.1.2/24, loopback0, 2.2.2.2 /32.
We could configure Router1 like this:
router bgp 200
neighbor 172.1.1.2 remote-as 200
In this case, BGP would automatically use 172.1.1.1 as the source for the TCP connection that has to be set up with the neighbor before updates can be exchanged; this address is known as the best local address. However, if the remote peer’s serial0 interface is shut down or goes down for another reason, the peer relationship would be lost even though Router2 is still available.
Instead of using one of the physical interfaces, we can use the loopbacks on each router to establish the TCP-based peer connection. The configurations would look like this:
Router1:
router bgp 200
neighbor 2.2.2.2 remote-as 200
neighbor 2.2.2.2 update-source loopback0
Router2:
router bgp 200
neighbor 1.1.1.1 remote-as 200
neighbor 1.1.1.1 update-source loopback0
In this case, losing one of the physical connections does not necessarily mean the BGP peering is lost; as long as the routers have a valid path to each other’s loopback addresses, the BGP peer relationship will stay in place. And better yet, we avoid the dreaded “single point of failure”!

When we think about the benefits of being ensuring a good bill of health by keeping track of our daily intake of prescribed vitamins, minerals and as well as the other nutrients that are needed by your body in order to stay healthy. It is important to be conscious of the fact that deficiencies in the daily intake of vitamins and minerals can negatively affect not only your physical capabilities but your how your mind functions as well. Recent research has indicated that such deficiencies can even contribute to one of the most common mental illnesses of all, depression.
The Vitamin B complex is incredibly important to our mental well-being and functioning. Even relatively small deficiencies can have an adverse effect on a person’s mental health over time. While serious nutrient deficiencies can actually contribute to serious mental illnesses. As for the case of trying your best to avoid mental illnesses, it is highly important to make sure that your daily diet meets the recommended amount of the Vitamin B complex.
It is also interesting to note that those with alcohol problems – often used as a way to cope up with depression can actually worsen one’s situation, are often suffering from Vitamin B complex deficiencies. This is because alcohol actually destroys the Vitamin B in a person’s body.
A lack of thiamine can also lead to a lack of energy as well as to being sluggish all the time. When ignored and not taken care of immediately, it can actually lead to deep fatigue, anxiety, depression and even to having suicidal tendencies. It can also bring on insomnia, which can contribute to the worsening of each and every one of these symptoms. Serious deficiency in niacin has been clinically associated with various mental symptoms like cognitive slowness which concerns the processing of information, dementia, anxiety and psychosis. Vitamin B5 has been found to play a big role in the formation of hormones as well as other brain chemical processes that are related to a person’s mood. Nutritional deficiencies can lead to stress and certain types of depression. Vitamin B6 is essential to the production of serotonin and dopamine. If continuously ignored, the lack of Vitamin B12 can eventually lead to various mental disorders such as serious mood swings, mania, paranoia, dementia and even hallucinations.
Vitamin C is also important in the prevention or easing the state of depression that a person is in. It is important to note that many common medications, both over the counter and prescription drugs, can actually rob the body of Vitamin C, which is why a lot of doctors tend to add vitamin C supplements alongside their anti-depressant prescriptions.
Deficiencies in a number of minerals have been highly associated with depression and other mental disorders. Among these are magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, potassium and manganese. They actually all combine in order to produce and release serotonin and other compounds that can have positive effects on a person’s mood and mental health.
Other symptoms of a poor mental health which are greatly associated with deficiencies in the essential minerals that a person needs, include paranoia, confusion, anxiety, depression, fatigue and tearfulness.
The brain is ruled by the chemical interactions that obviously take place within it. These chemicals have a delicate balance to maintain and nutrition definitely plays an integral role both in the formation of these essential chemicals and their proper maintenance. On every level of mental mood and functioning, it is absolutely necessary that we make sure to meet the recommended daily intake levels of vitamins, minerals as well as the other nutrients. Dietary supplements, when used according to recommended dosages, are a safe means of seeing to it that our minds are functioning properly and effectively..
